Upcoming Event: Waterloo Music Festival
A brand new music festival is coming to Austin. With Austin already known for so much music and great festivals, it comes as no surprise that another festival is coming to the city. The city is already home to so many music festivals drawing big crowds, such as the Urban Music Festival, South by Southwest and the Austin Reggae Fest.
This new music festival will provide some of the best talent from all across the country. It's called the Waterloo Music Festival and it will provide plenty of fun for all those in love with music.
So many great acts will take the stage with plenty of big names and others you'll want to discover. The lineup includes:

- Joe Russo's Almost Dead
- Oxtail & Friends
- Railroad Earth
- Leftover Salmon
- Easy Star All-Stars
- The Motet
- Perpetual Groove
- Los Coast
- Sara Grace & The Soul
- Magic Beans
- And many more!
Music will start at 2pm each day. On Friday, they will go until 1am on the Relix stage and 11:30pm on the Waterloo stage. The same times apply to Saturday and on Sunday; the music will run until 11pm.
Throughout the event, all in attendance will have access to free water stations and you may carry up to two empty bottles for water or camelbacks. The event will happen whether it rains or it's perfect out and this is a family-friendly event. However, all those in attendance under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian with them at all times. This event is NOT pet-friendly, however.
There are several ticket options for the event. You can get a day pass, weekend pass or a ticket including camping. Of course, you can also pick up VIP tickets. Ticket prices for the Waterloo Music Festival are as follows:
- General Day Passes - $69
- VIP Day Passes - $129
- General Weekend Passes - $179
- General VIP Passes - $349
- General Camping Passes - $269
- VIP Camping Passes - $439
- Glamping & RV Spots - $299 or $499 with electric hookup
VIP passes include express entry, premium restrooms, preferred viewing, a preferred lounge, an exclusive bar with happy hours, free campground showers and a dedicated VIP concierge.
Camping passes include tent camping on the banks of the Colorado River. You can bring a vehicle for an additional $49.
If you prefer glamping, there will be glamping tent rentals with plenty of luxury amenities. The headliner package includes air conditioning in your tent with everything else you will need and some things you will just enjoy. Opening Act tents offer a 10-by-10 tent with camping chairs, lanterns, a cooler, a power strip, solar lights, a fan and light combo, a camping table and other amenities. Both glamping options include a one vehicle pass.
RV spots are also available with 30A or 50A hookups. Spots without electric come at a discounted rate.
