Upcoming Event: Carnaval Brasileiro
Check out Carnival Braisleiro this February in Austin! It’s a huge event to celebrate all things Brazil as one of the biggest Brazilian carnaval celebrations happening right in the heart of Texas. You won’t find anything this big to celebrate Brazil without actually going to the country itself. The event celebrates costumes, samba, and wild abandon for one night only.
This annual event is one to check out if you’re new to the area because you’ll want to come back every year after getting a taste. Make this February one for the books with the Carnival Brasileiro being held at the Palmer Events Center for the craziest party of 2016.
What to expect
The Carnival Brasileiro can be compared to a crazy Halloween party or a wild Mardi Gras party but even grander. Every year is even more exciting than the last which makes party-lovers come back year after year. You’ll see amazing costumes, hear incredible music, and will enjoy dancing and flirting the whole time.
A Brazilian Samba band performs on stage and it is intoxicating as the crowd sips on a beverage and dances through the night. For those that love large crowds, a killer party, and meeting strangers, this party is hard to top.
Moving through the crowd typically involves having to join a conga line and everywhere you go will have you noticing the variety of intricate costumes, the body paint, and the body stockings. People will be photography the extravagance, dancing all night, and having a hard time wiping the smile off their faces.
