Restaurant Spotlight: Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill

The Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill was a creation of Carlos Manzano and Santos Garcia who wanted to build on their vision of a casual theme style establishment specializing in authentic Southwestern cuisine. The Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill is just that and for a moderate price.

Their hard work and endless dedication for the last few years has paid off with a wonderful Austin restaurant that stays busy and has so much to offer. Inside you’ll find a main dining area, a full service bar and a beautiful patio. Here is a look at what you can enjoy at Blue Corn.

What to expect

Blue Corn is located at 700 East Whitestone Blvd #204 in Cedar Park. It is open seven days a week and features happy hour and weekend brunches. The hours of operation include:

  • Monday through Thursday 11am to 10pm
  • Friday 11am to 11pm
  • Saturday 10am to 11pm
  • Sunday 9am to 10pm
  • Happy hour weekdays from 3pm to 7pm
  • Brunch Saturdays from 10am to 3pm
  • Brunch Sundays from 9am to 3pm

As soon as you arrive, you’ll notice the beautiful dining area and bar featuring international and local wine and beer along with mixed drinks. The patio is covered by beautiful trees allowing for a fun area to sit outdoors with a margarita. The private room can hold 60 people and is regularly reserved for parties and business meetings.

They believe in supporting local producers and suppliers. Beer is supplied from Live Oak, Real Ale, Circle Brewery, 512 Brewery, Shiner and Independence. Wine is brought in from Fall Creek Sauvignon Blanc and Becker Tempranillo.

Texas liquors are used to make your mixed drinks. Fruits, vegetables and groceries come from local farmers markets and Texas Meat Purveyors provide the meat. Blue Corn Tortillas come from Fiestas Tortillas and bread from the New World Bakery.

Enjoy live music on Thursdays and Saturdays with specials going all week. Monday’s kids will eat free and Tuesdays is all-day happy hour. Wednesdays feature ½ priced wine bottles and weekend features brunch with their famous organic pancakes and Bloody Mary bar along with other specials. Enjoy menu items all week like enchiladas, tacos, sandwiches, chicken specialties and so much more.

The Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill is an excellent place to dine in the area.
