Restaurant Spotlight: Biga on the Banks
Known as one of the best fine dining establishments on the Riverwalk, Biga on the Banks is a New American restaurant with plenty to offer. Many have referred to the restaurant as the standard for fine dining. They offer both private dining and banquet rooms perfect for events and gatherings. Here's what you can expect when you dine at Biga on the Banks.
There are several great items on the menu and plenty of regular featured dishes. The cuisine is full of elegance and you will have no issue finding the perfect dish for your meal. Some of the favorite choices include:
- Griddled 13-ounce Angus Beef Ribeye
- Seared Hudson Valley foie gras
- Tempura Shrimp
- Eleven-Spiced Hill Country Venison and Grilled Quail
- Grilled 10-ounce Beef Tenderloin

They also offer a seasonal Prix Fixe Chef's menu, which is perfect for pre-Symphony or pre-theater dining. You will get three or four courses from the menu and it's less than $40 per person.
Table 31 is also available, which provides a five to eight course prix fixe menu with plenty of amazing creations. This tasting menu runs from $65 to $120 per person and must be reserved ahead of time.

Location and Hours
Biga on the Banks is found at 203 South St. Mary's Street in San Antonio. They are open from 5:30pm to 10pm, Sunday through Thursday and from 5:30pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. They do offer valet services to make parking easier.
