Brand New Chic Restaurant at the Commodore Perry Estate
The Commodore Perry Estate is one of the hottest new spots in Austin right now. The stunning historic mansion serves as a hotel and a membership club. Since opening last June, the exquisite estate has only allowed hotel guests and private members. Now, a new eatery called Lutie’s Garden Restaurant just opened to the public and it is all the craze.
Two admired Austin chefs have marked their return back to Austin from San Francisco. When the chef duo was asked to join the restaurant project, they knew they couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Bradley Nicholson & Susana Querejazu have brought their expertise and style to Lutie’s. Nicholson describes the food as “a little bit more creative, a lot more of a reflection of what Susanna and I’ve been working on, based on Texas cuisines. There will be a nice mix of very simple things and then some things that are kind of flashy.” The design of the Commodore and Lutie’s was overseen by interior designer and creative director Ken Folk. Lutie’s has a plethora of hanging plants, half-stone walls, and gold accents. It is meant to look and feel like a contemporary country club. The Commodore Perry Estate and Lutie's Garden Room is a must this summer!
