Spend the day fishing, playing volleyball and bring a picnic. You can take a hike along the trails for three miles of paths through woods and streams.
Bee Cave Library: 4000 Galleria Parkway
Take the kids to the Bee Cave Library for a great indoor activity on rainy days. The library is operated independently of the public library system which means it offers a personal charm and is a Bee Cave attraction that's popular with all ages. The kids section is well stocked and there are summer programs for kids as well. If you’re looking for a certain book, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

During the hot weather season, there is nothing better than some fun cooling off in the water. There is actually a huge splash pad called the Hills Country Galleria Interactive Fountain that kids love to get soaked in. Parents can sit at a nearby table while the kids play and grab a treat from Amy’s Ice Cream. Check it out behind City Hall at the Galleria shopping mall.
