What to Expect
The Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theatre is open year-round in beautiful New Braunfels. You’ll get to enjoy double-features of the newest movies and there’s even a place to grab some grub and a playground for the kids. Enjoy the playground with the little ones or bring the family into the 50s Café for a great burger. Showtimes are featured on their website at http://DriveInUsa.com.
The drive-in dates back to the 40s when the owner’s grandfather started one in Lamesa, Texas. With all of the stories on the people, the events and the food served at this business on the west part of Texas, the owner was inspired after experiencing a drive-in theatre experience in 2002.
From there, the Lubbock cotton farm was purchased in 2003 and by August, the theatre was opened with the Rockin’ Eats TM. Another farm was since purchased outside of the city to serve another community in central Texas as well.
You’ll love the old-fashioned drive-in experience at Stars & Stripes where you can load up the family in the car, find a great spot and watch a movie in the great outdoors under the stars. They are showing top films like Jurassic World and the Minions and tickets cost are less than $10 per person.
Check out the Stars & Stripes Theatre open nightly at 6:30pm.
