Best Pumpkin Patches Around Austin
It's not officially fall until you visit a pumpkin patch! There are so many beautiful pumpkin patches to check out this season around Austin. Here are the top farms you have to check out this month!
1. Barton Hills Farm
The annual Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch at Barton Hills Farm in Bastrop will be open on Saturdays & Sundays between September 25 – November 7 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. There is a beautiful 3.5-acre corn maze to explore! Barton Hills Farm also has games, live music, farm animals, concessions, a beer garden, and of course, lots of pumpkins!
2. Elgin Christmas Tree Farm
The Elgin Christmas Tree farm will be open every day from October 2 – 31 for Fall Festivities. For $10/person you get access to a hayride, train ride, animals to visit, mazes, playgrounds, picnic areas, duck races, and pumpkin photo ops.
3. Evergreen Farms
Evergreen Farms is a beautiful pumpkin patch in Elgin. You can customize your own experience on the farm where you can choose which activities to purchase for $3 tickets for each activity — pumpkin hunt, pumpkin launcher, train ride, fishing pond, spinner, bounce track, kid zip line, mazes, and more!!
4. Sweet Berry Farm
This popular farm in Marble Falls offers the Harvest of Fall Fun open from September 18 – November 7 Admission and parking are free! You can simply just pay for the activities you want to do or the pumpkins you choose. Activities include hayrides, a train, a maze, sand art, horse rides, stuff a scarecrow, face painting, giant jumping pillows and homemade ice cream made with the goods from the farm.
5. The Jersey Barnyard
This Pumpkin Patch in LaGrange is open from the last week of September through October. Every Saturday in October you can enjoy free pumpkin painting from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. with a pumpkin purchase. Families can also take a tour of the farm which includes feeding animals, milking a cow and a hay ride!
